A role model is someoneSomeone to look up to If you have no role model What will you be? I say "that's easy" "My role models is..." "I don't know" But now, I do I am my own role model I love off my own hopes and dreams Who needs someone else's wants and needs How could I be a role model I am a brother and a friend I would like to be a cook and make yummy things Own a soup restaurant and be a success So I say to myself as I write this poem I have nothing to look up to Except my own expectations

My friend Ben M. is a role model for first grade. He knows everything. Even stuff your parents don't know. He is only 12 years old. Anything you ask him he has an answer. He is very nice and loves kids. He is very funny. He helps you with your problems.

I have a role model. My role model is my sister. My sister is my role model because she has no babies and she has a very good job. She travels all over the world. She is about to get married. I think she gets a lot of money when her pay check comes. When she was young she finished high school on time. And she finished college and got her GED. She got all As and Bs. My mom said that she was very smart. I believe her. And she is still smart. She tells me right from wrong. She is very nice to me. She does not call me any names and she helps me with my homework sometimes.

My role model is my best friend, Jazmine. Because she helps me with everything I do. And she also has my back and we also do things together like this spring we're going on vacation with my mom and dad. We really rock together. We have been best friends since the 2nd grade and we're in 5th grade now. So that's why Jazmine is my best friend and my role model. So go Jazmine my role model. You are my BFF (Best Friends Forever). Also my RM (Role Model).

My role model is my dad because he plays lots of sports with me. He taught me how to ride my two-wheel bicycle. He also helped me when I got myself stuck in a pickle. Like once a bully punched me and when I punched him back the principal saw and got me in a whole lot of trouble. He also taught me the history of sports and he helped me with studies and homework. That's why my dad is my role model.

My role models are my parents. They can do absolutely anything, and I think that is pretty cool. Lots of people have their role models like sports heroes, celebrities and weathermen and women, but mine are my parents. One reason my parents are my role models is because they are so smart. Whenever I have trouble with my homework, they're the ones that I call for help. They are also smart by taking care of us. We always run around the house and play tag, so Dad says to stop before something breaks or falls. He always says that when he sees something is going to break and he fixes it. He says "Good job, Pete. Good job. "My second reason that my parents are my role models is becasue of their looks. My mom and dad both look like they're 25 years old. I always tell them in the car when we are driving home that they look like they should be back in college and they just laugh at me and scruffle my hair until I have a big hump of frizzed up scruffy hair on my head. My final reason of why I think my parents are my role models is because of their energy. My mom does a lot of exercising after she drops us off at school, and my dad lifts at least 25 pounds of weights on each arm everyday. I'm proud to have parents that exercise so much. A lot of people are proud of many things, but I'm proud of how both my parents are smart as can be, good looking, and are super energetic and i think that is something to be proud and more importantly look up to.

Hello, I am Natalie from XYZ news station. I am doing a report this week on what people think a role model is. Everyday I will go out and interview someone. The person with the best definition will win a secret prize.

Sunday: Today we will interview Ferret Flibbershon. He told us this, "Well, I htink a role model is someone yoyu look up to. Someone you want to be like when you grow up. When I was a child I looked up to Barney, now my role model is...still Barney." We thought well, he got it pretty much alright! Let's go on to the next interview.

Monday: This is Katy Karry, she works at the zoo in the monkey exhibit, she told us this: "I think a role model is a supermodel that is all rolled up in ball, or sometimes rolled up like a burrito." I think I know why she works in the money exhibit...

Tuesday: Next is...Zoey Zingger, she lives in an apartment in Atlantis. "Well, I like thinkt that like a role model is like a person...WOW! My nail is chipped! Oh...ya role models...um...like a person that you like, like. Do you thinkg you could fix my nail?" Maybe she should "work" at the monkey exhibit too!

Wednesday: W is not only for Wednesday, also Wendy Werry! Wendy has a PhD in cow-girl-ness. "HOWDY Y'ALL! I think that a role model is somebody that y'all enjoy, or you want to be enjoyed like them." She's almost right.

Thursday: Yumi Young, she likes sports and wants to be just like David Beckham. Oh! We might have a winner! "I think a role model is David Beckham. If he is not your role model, you don't have one. You just think you do." Not quite...

Friday: Eddy Earner. Let's home this goes well! "I think a role model is...well...um...GOT TO GO!" It wasnÕt as interesting as I hoped. It was NOTHING like what I had hoped!

Saturday: Today we will pick our winner.
