I would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of the businesses that advertised in the first issue of CPSxpress. Without them, this magazine would not have been possible. Their advertising dollars are what helped pay for the cost of printing and production. Please visit their web sites and support them, as they are supporting their neighborhood schools!

CPSxpress Mission Statement:
CPSxpress is a magazine created to encourage and showcase the best of CPS writers and artists while exploring various topics of interest and creating pride in one's work and achievements.

I started CPSxpress to create a venue in which kids could express themselves, while at the same time learning about how other kids feel on the same topic. The magazine is meant to be a creative outlet for for kids. By focusing on a specific topic, they can learn to focus their thoughts and expressions. Reading and writing are so important, and the magazine encourages both, along with illustrating thoughts with art. Another bonus is the self esteem one feels when seeing one's work in print.

Because of limited space and the fact that I don't want anyone to be left out, I have also included a link to view what didn't make it in the magazine. Just click the Xpress Xtras button below.
